Quickly capture all information related to your purchased software by importing Applications, Dashboard Widgets, Games, and other software' and is an app in the office & productivity category. None of them appear to limit the number of backups you can create as I have seen in some apps. LicenseKeeper is described as 'is the easiest way to manage software registration and license information. What is producing the files you need to manage? Do they have similar file names? Is there anything else in that folder? I have several manual backups such as 1Password, Quicken, and License Keeper to mention a few. I resolved my issue with a fancy bit of command line and cron. ![]() So that is not a recommended way to approach this. I’ve been using it for a while and actually having fun. Update (Sept 12, 2011): MacUpdate has fixed the invalid encoding in the LicenseKeeper data file and newly downloaded files should now work as expected. I’ve finally brought order to chaos, though, with the help of LicenseKeeper, an organizer from Outer Level that keeps all that license information in one convenient place and with more focused. The & is an illegal character and it needs to be HTML encoded so it doesn’t break XML parsing. #Licensekeeper serial numbersThen Hazel keeps deleting backups on schedule until you have none left. LicenseKeeper lets me store both serial numbers and the actual license files along with any receipts, e-mail and other related items. The LicenseKeeper data file is a simple Mac OS X plist that needs to follow a specific XML format. ![]() But that can go really wrong if your backups stop producing new files. Hazel can delete files older than a certain number of days, which might seem to fit the bill. Hi, I could easily be wrong, but I don't think Hazel can do that. ![]()
